I continued my ‘Cubes’ series with ‘Animals of Australia’. The cubic form adds some magic, humor and a bit of a Pop Art feel to the print.
Cats, I love them. That’s for sure. Since early childhood cats have surrounded me. And as every cat owner knows they all have their own personality.
This print contains a few of the animals that you can see wandering around in the landscape of The Netherlands.
A commission for a friend, picturing her cats. This print shows what can happen when three cats are left alone.
In 2017 the paleontologist Lorna Steel named a prehistoric crocodile after Lemmy Kilmister. Its name roughly translates “Lemmy’s blunt-toothed crocodile”.
It was a logical choice to do something with the three colorful parrots from an earlier print ‘Birds of Australia’.
