During sunrise I saw a mangrove at Nudgee Beach reflected in the water. Only a feeding egret disturbed the reflective surface of the water.

The mud flats are very important for the migrating shore birds. Every year they come to the mud flats to feed.
Some summer days are really hot. The hot wind blows through the bulrush and the bright sun sears your skin.
