Whereas grass is normally green, in Australia it has a very distinctive shade. When grass is colored Australian Green it is dry and yellow.

I continued my ‘Cubes’ series with ‘Animals of Australia’. The cubic form adds some magic, humor and a bit of a Pop Art feel to the print.

The bright colors of the day become blacks and grays. A white light in the distance makes me see the rain.

In 1928 one of the most beautiful parrots of Australia became extinct. Nobody understood how this could happen.
